Our Story
We started small, working out of Freeport and taking on jobs across Allegheny County one property at a time. Word of mouth built the business more than advertising ever did, because neighbors talk when a crew shows up on time, works carefully around a fence or a flower bed, and cleans up completely before leaving. That reputation is still what brings most of our new customers through the door today.
What We Have Learned Over the Years
Twenty-five years in the same region teaches you things no training manual covers. We know which neighborhoods have ash trees struggling with borers, where storm damage tends to hit hardest each season, and how the local soil affects root stability in older trees. We have also watched new diseases and pests move through the area and adjusted our approach to protect the trees our customers have cared for over decades.
Our Team
Every crew member carries workers' compensation coverage, so property owners are never liable if someone is injured on the job. Our arborists train continuously on proper pruning technique, hazard assessment, and safe rigging, because tree work done wrong can cause more damage than the problem it was meant to fix. We own our equipment, from bucket trucks to cranes to stump grinders, which means we are never waiting on a rental company to keep a job moving.
What We Believe
We believe tree care should protect people and property first, and look good second. We believe in giving honest assessments, even when that means telling a customer a tree can be saved instead of removed. And we believe a job is not finished until the yard is as clean as it was before we arrived.
